Thanks, Kevin. I omitted mentioning the BIOS CTR-I step. I had completed that successfully prior to loading the OS. In fact, the CTR-I went very smoothly. I also downloaded and printed the PDF user guide and devoured it, so to speak, last night. Are the drivers that I need contained in the .ZIP file? (I am running the OS at 64 bit.)
Is there a way to load the drivers post-OS, or do I need to load the drivers as I reload the OS? When we (my wife and I) loaded the OS this time, we used the "recommended loading" and not the "custom loading" and don't recall a point at which we were prompted to load third party drivers. Should we have used the custom setup or loading for Win 7?
This is not my first computer build. I've done several over the years. But it is my first where I've tried to set up RAID. I admit that it has me completely flummoxed. I feel like a compleat idiot. And I greatly appreciate any assistance! Really. Matt
