Oh, I see.
This APM feature is not only annoying from an audible standpoint, but also hazardous in regards to the life of the hard drive and the data that's stored on it.
Welp, I really hope Intel gets around this somehow, sooner than later.
Would be a shame to get stuck on aging drivers when the hard drives are still working and are of use.
