Here is my re-post as Amy C. said "for us to further assist you and to help you with the specific problem, please create a new thread, make sure to add all the details in regard to your system. This way the next agent will have a better look at your specific scenario, you can add this thread as a reference but I recommend creating a new thread in order to isolate your case."

Per request, System Information: azulletech.com Byte Plus, Windows 10 Home, Intel CherryTrail T3 Z8300 Quad-Core, 1.44 GHz, 2GB memory

Problem: Audio randomly changes volume when watching videos. Computer is newly purchased this month and I went through all Windows 10 Home updates, which I believe included the creators update. Investigating issue, I found the following:

Device Manager shows: Intel SST audio device ACPI\808622A8\1 requires further installation, fould like this;

Windows 10 Home device manager

-sound and video games

shows- Intel SST audio device

-properties

-events tab

-says Device ACPI\808622A8\1 requires further installation.

What are steps for further installation?

Unable to re-install SST Audio driver after having removed it (Comput Stick STCK1A32WFC / Windows 10 Creators)

Hi,

Earlier in August I upgraded Windows 10 to the Creators release.

From then I started having sounds issues when watching videos. After a while, getting cracks and other strange effects.

Restarting the app was not solving the issue, the sound problem was still there. So I though the sound system / driver was getting unstable, not the app itself.

Only a reboot was, temporarily, solving the issue.

So I decided to re-install the audio driver. I went in the devices manager and removed the device + the driver for Intel SST Audio. I was surprised Windows would not detect the device at reboot and automatically re-install / download the driver. So I had to look for the driver online and downloaded the SOC archive from there https://downloadcenter.intel.com/fr/product/86612/Intel-Compute-Stick-STCK1A32WFC

The device manager is strangely telling me about 3 bluetooth unknown devices.

One of them is "Device ACPI\808622A8" and I forced installation of the sst driver which can be found in the /Audio/ of the archive. I did not know what to do with Realtek one ?

I then tried to reboot, keeping the two other unknown bluetooth devices untouched ... but Windows would not start again. Crash looping. Only way to boot is to go in recovery mode and remove the sst device again.

I am now stuck with no sound and would appreciate some help please.

: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Chipsets communities. We will do our best in order to try to resolve this problem.

In regard to your inquiry, yes, for Intel® motherboards we normally recommend to install the drivers in the following order:
Chipset
Management Engine
Graphics
USB
Ethernet
Audio

We can also try to install the driver manually using the overall method:
Open Cortana
Enter cmd in there to open up the command prompt
Enter cd desktop (For this step the work, after you unzip the files, please save the chipset.exe on the desktop)
After that enter: setupchipset.exe –overall

On the link below you will find all the drivers for your laptop:

Any further questions, please let me know.

The manufacturer says that the component and its chip set are Intel and that Intel would be the maker of any Windows 10 driver and its associated issues including/especially: Device ACPI\808622A8\1 requires further installation. So, the finger is being pointed back and forth, with the burden on the ultimate consumer!

Usb3 XHCI driver for J4205 cpu and Win7

Hi all,

I'm trying to install a Win7 64bit build 7600 to an AsRock J4205-ITX (so a cpu J4205) and I don't succeed to install the USB3 XHCI driver.

Win7 was installed from a sata optical drive with PS2 keyboard and mouse in CSM mode (the only way to bypass the use of usb3 not managed by this old OS).

Win7 is working, but there's no driver installed for USB (it's normal as there's no XHCI USB driver in Win7)

The ID of the missing USB controller ressource is VEN_8086&DEV_5AA8

This board cannot be used/downgraded with a EHCI USB driver due to the recent CPU/chipset.

The UEFI/bios is a P1.20 version. I tried to contact AsRock for a solution with the USB issue, but no response for the moment.

In all cases, they don't have a XHCI USB driver for this board in their support section.

From what I read, the only solution is to use a generic XHCI driver from Intel, specially made for Win7.

I found this one: Intel(R)_USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver_5.0.3.42

But when I launched the setup, it was stated that "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".

The installed OS is clean as it's just setup.

I found a log (c:\Intel\log\IntelUSB3.log) which seems to be the USB driver log (joined). From what I understand the DEV_5AA8 is not found....

Is this package (Driver_5.0.3.42) compatible with J4205 serie of processor ? if not, is there another package for it ?

From where the error "does not meet the minimum requirements" may come ? OS version ?

Does anybody succeeded to have a functional Win7 + USB ports on a J4205 board ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller for Windows 10 X86

Good Morning
I am having problems installing drivers for the following devices for Windows 10 32 bit:
"Intel (R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D60"
"Intel (R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D61"
"Intel (R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D62"

I wonder if there are null drivers for these devices for Windows 10 32bits which are for a Dell Latitude 7480.

I have already opened a support case in the hardware vendor Dell, so that they can help me in this situation.

Kircos,

Not sure this can help. It could as well be totally stupid. But I noticed the same message on my system until I realised it was actually only showing one of the events of the device. The first one actually.

Going down in the events (clicking in the list of events in the events tab), I realised the first one stating "Device ACPI\808622A8\1 requires further installation" was the initial detection of the device.

Then were coming the events, already managed by the system, of actually installing the device, and enabling it.

Alex.

kircos, my apologies for the inconvenience.

The SST Audio Device Driver is provided by the computer manufacturer, the driver you can find from our end for your processor model is the Intel® HD Graphics driver which is a generic and can be found in the following link Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.40]. Just for you to know for the type of processor you have the support is provided by computer manufacturer, this is why the SST driver cannot be found from our end.

Hello Fred785,

Thank you for joining the Chipset community. My apologies for the inconvenience.

I will respond to your questions in the same order you posted them, please see below;

Is this package (Driver_5.0.3.42) compatible with J4205 serie of processor ? if not, is there another package for it ?

The driver is not compatible with this processor. From our end these are the versions available: Downloads for Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver.

From where the error "does not meet the minimum requirements" may come ? OS version ?

Yes it could be related to the operating system and the supported platforms.

Does anybody succeeded to have a functional Win7 + USB ports on a J4205 board ?

Hopefully one of the peers can help sharing similar experiences regarding this matter.

Regards,

Amy C.

Hello Jose_Fernandes,

Thank you for joining the Chipsets community.

I am looking on the available updates for the supported operating system for this model and I could not find Windows® 10 32-bit, so the error you are looking at could be related to the fact that there are no driver available for this operating system. I actually found this driver: Intel Serial IO Driver Driver Details | Dell US but is intended to be used on Windows 7. You will need to wait for Dell's answer on this, maybe they have more feedback regarding this matter.

Amy C.

I owned Lenovo G5080 Laptop, which is compatible with 64bit OS. On 64bit OS USB 3.0 port is working fine.

But due to some Govt. works, I need to work on Windows 32bit OS, so I made it dual boot OS.

Now the problem is that on 32bit OS USB 3.0 is not working. I contacted at Lenovo support they taken my Lappy on remote and tried every method, but failed.

Anyone can help me to provide the USB 3.0 drivers for my Lappy.

Intel i7 Haswell & CrystalWell with Intel HM87 (ASUS G751 Notebooks) - Driver Issues Windows 10

Hi,

I've been working on a Custom OEM Recovery Project on the ASUS ROG Forums, but I've noticed that for the G751 - the final Model ASUS released the G751JY can have a 'i7 4710HQ Haswell' or a 'i7 4860HQ Crystalwell'.

The problem is this:

ROG G751JY | Link to Support Download Page

D/L URL: dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversForWin10/Chipset/Chipset_Intel_Skylake_Win10_64_VER10119.zip?_ga=2.91445586.933743925.1503663472-115729017.1503540811

The final supported driver release from ASUS for the G751JY contained a driver package named 'Chipset_Intel_Skylake_Win10_64_VER10119.zip'

This driver set, when extracted does not contain the relevant drivers for the CystalWell Processor.

SetupChipset.exe -Extract "drv.inf"

The only drivers the 4860HQ JY can use from that package are the LynxPointSystem drivers.

Using the Microsoft Update Catalog - the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0D01&SUBSYS_22DA1043&REV_08 has one final possible driver to use 10.1.1.36

Link to ASUSTek Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0d01 on Microsoft Update Catalog

Subsequent Windows Updates recognize that the chipset driverset 10.1.1.36 are out of date - and search for a new package. However - the only driver package that supercedes 10.1.1.36 and contains the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0D01 hardware drivers are a Server Chipset driver 10.1.2.86 Intel® Server Chipset Driver for Windows Download Information Page .

This leads to the problem where Windows Update Catalog only has one vendor listed for the 10.1.2.86 driver set -   HON HAI PRECISION INDUSTRY CO.LTD

Microsoft Update Catalog www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=10.1.2.86%204th%20gen

Microsoft Update Catalog www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q= Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0d01

Windows will try to update the Notebook using the 10.1.1.XX branch

As a result - during Windows Updates - the G751JY with the CrystalWell i7-4860HQ - ends up with;

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C00Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor DRAM Controller - 0C00"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C01Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0C01"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C05Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x8 Controller - 0C05"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C09Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x4 Controller - 0C09"

when it should have;

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d00Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor DRAM Controller - 0D00"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d01Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0D01"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d05Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x8 Controller - 0D05"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d09Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x4 Controller - 0D09"

This happened to me quite a while back - however it was only recently that I discovered the cause, while I was working on the Custom OEM Style Recovery Image for the G751.

I've included the mup.xml for the Chipset Driver packages from the Intel Download pages.

Thanks

Starting with Windows 8/8.1, support for USB 3.0 was integrated into the Windows base product. There are no separate drivers to download and install. The USB 3.0 ports should have been enumerated automatically during the install and update of the O/S. Are the ports just not appearing/working at all or are they operating at only USB 2.0 performance levels?

Yes I know it was /is included in windows after release of Win 8 & later.

But as I already told, it's available in Windows 64bit OS, not for 32bit OS.

I need for Windows 8/8.1 32bit OS.

USB 2.0 - Two ports - working

USB 3.0 - One port - not working (if we check mobile charging, it's charging only, not connecting device)

Already tried many drivers from Intel, DRP, Auto Driver, Driver Genius, Snail Drivers, Driver Agent etc.

Not working

Nor any exclamation mark in device manager, all drivers updated, Windows updates are also upto date.

1 out of 3 usb controller suddenly dissapears and appears as "unknown device"

so all my usb ports worked fine yesterday, and when i got on my computer today, 1 out of 3 of the usb ports just won't scan for anything. i know this because yesterday it was where i originally plugged in my mouse,  and when i got back to my pc, my mouse suddenly stopped working. so i checked the device manager under the universal serial bus controllers, and i only see 2 usb intel driver controllers, and 1 other device marked as "unknown device" with a yellow mark sign. i quckly assume that it is the third usb port and its not working. i tried reinstalling the chipset family, but it ended up the same, 2 usb intel driver controllers, and the unknown device. i tried to check if its broken or spilled by water, so i grabbed a data cable and my phone. to my surprise, its charging so i quickly assume its still working. i don't want to reset my pc because im afraid that i would sacrifise my data and to be greeted by the usb port with the same status. i tried a bunch of methods, ranging from simply restarting my pc to restoring my settings to previous times, even restoring the settings doesn't work, i restore it to yesterday, then a week ago, then a month ago.

what to do?
