Also, I forgot to add that I have read in some places where the RST software (64 bit) for Windows 7 64bit was installed on Windows 8 (64 bit) and at the beginning of installation you get a prompt saying that the existing drivers are new than the driver being installed, would you like to keep the existing driver, Yes or No.
Then, regardless if you click Yes or No, the installation completes but when you restart, you get a blue screen.
