Hi Kevin_intel,
I didnt't say "you are joking".
I saw "you think we are joking".
This post has 2 3 users describing the same problem...
I don't have any problems in my system because I use a 6 Series chipset, not affected by the bug.
But if you take the latest driver 9.4.0.1027 and other past drivers after 9.3.0.1019 (this is the last functional) and install in any of these systems:
Q45/Q43, Q35, Q33, G31 or any other chipset described by inf's:
All\ibexusb.inf
All\ichausb.inf
All\ich9usb.inf
All\ich78usb.inf
All\ich6usb.inf
All\ich5usb.inf
All\ESB2usb.inf
All\tcrkusb.inf
WIN7\ich78usb.inf
WIN7\ibexusb.inf
WIN7\tcrkusb.inf
you may have some usb detection errors.
If you go "Device manager" will see some USB devices with yellow exclamation marks.
Errors doesn't affects external HDD's or flash drives detection, but keyboard and mouse only detections.
It's not very good perform an update with latest inf drivers and after reboot I have mouse and keyboard "broken"...
Regards...
