Re: Help: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"

In fact this issue has been reported before here, and you should try the troubleshooting that has been offered for this.

First, update the BIOS for the system you have. This is posted at:

http://support.gateway.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=2376

 

And then try using the latest generic driver for the video controller in your system. This is available at:

Download Center

 

You may also try clean operating system installation.

 

If the issue persists, check with your computer manufacturer, as this might be related to a hardware problem
