Since the ICH10R controller is a mature product it will only support up to version 11.7 is goo to know that works with windows 8.1 with version 14.6 but is not supported you can check the readme file for the 11.7 in the following link: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/22194/eng/readme.txt
In other words is expected to have issues since is not a validated driver for the chipset you are using.
