The new Intel RST 14.0 is available, you might want to try that: Intel® Download Center
Maybe then you can also check for my problem: New RST 14.0.0.1143 doesn't allow HDDs to spin down (bug?)
You could set your HDDs to spin down after 2 minutes in the energy savings plan / power management, and see if they do. Cause for me they don't do it anymore with the new RST.
