of course i tried there, it was the first spot. The problem is a MOBO is not made of one chip. There are graphic, chipset, LAN, RAID, USB etc. so asrock only cares about keeping the software updated when its the "number one" as soon as a new model comes out your on your own and thats the reality with most things. There are sites like:
www.realtek.com.tw (and make sure u look for the tw the other is a fake that just hands out viruses not drivers)
www.station-drivers.com/index.php
For some reason i have not been able to get drivers from asmedia i dont know why but they dont seemt o have an DL section and last but not least INTC
Who seems to have z87 chipset updates but not z97.
Worst the Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility does nothing, NOT even ONE driver. I simply had to get dirty and look under the car myself.
Closest i have come to my hardware is Intel® Desktop Board DZ87KLT-75K
But even though there is a site for this chipset there are no driver (Intel REALLY needs to go to nvidia school and look at how they release updates for their drivers. First you go from v1 to v1.1 and you explain what is new. Nothing to it) I think i spend around $500 out of the 2000 on INTC parts. I deserve better service. Other then bragging about whats good about their current line they offer no easy help to customers, though it is an industry problem.
