Adgriffi's and others you are fantastic.
Your post saved all my data, without making extremely high cost to recover it. This was the solution for me.
I lost 2 drives (of 3) after a BIOS reset update I had to do because I had system clock failure..
I followed the Step-By-Step directions for TestDisk:http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step
- Went into the Intel RAID configuration during boot (CTRL+I) and noted the array name and stripe size.
- Converted the remaining Member disk to Non-member, despite the data loss warnings.
- Recreated the RAID5 array with the same name and stripe size as I noted earlier.
- Booted into Windows (my boot SSD was not part of the failed array).
- Downloaded and installed http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk which found my missing partition.
- followed the Step-By-Step directions for TestDisk:http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step
- After restoring the partition I rebooted, everything was back to normal and all my data was there once again.
- I then cried tears of joy and donated to the TestDisk author.
I cried when I saw all my data and files back again. Of course I donated Christophe GRENIER for wonderfull program
