Stephen, since you are using an Intel Chipset on a Super Micro server it is necessary to use the RSTe software provided by them, because our chipset have been customized.
The RSTe version available at our website is not going to work on your system.
Also, it would be necessary to check with them if they have validated the use of Intel SSDs on this server board.
My recommendation would be to report this behavior to SuperMicro, so they can escalate that internally to Intel.
