I used a system with 16 GB of RAM and took me a while to find out how to use a high amount of memory with programs. Bottom line, the system always entered the low power state mode, with or without Intel® Smart Response. One thing to notice is that the system will take a lot longer to enter or wake up from sleep when the programs are using such high amount of RAM; in this case I used 8 GB approximately.

 

I did not use Intel® Smart Connect but if there is an issue with it you may follow up in the other thread(s) you created for that subject.
