Please note that at this point the x79 Intel® motherboards are not compatible with the high-end 2011 socket Intel® processors due to a BIOS compatibility issue.

At this point, we do not have information about a possible BIOS update nor a date for a possible release. I do recommend you checking for updates on this matter at the Intel® News Room page. Here you can get all Intel® updates:
