Would you please include some pictures of the screens/options you are asking about and attach the IRST system report (Help, System Report, Save)? I do not fully understand where those options are.
I am not aware that enabling Intel® Smart Response Technology should affect the boot options. It is difficult to determine what the 2nd boot device was, perhaps a boot option in BIOS was disabled or you had an external boot device connected.
