All the information you have provided is very useful but I have a question for you. Do you have any RAID configuration or are you accelerating the system with the SSD?
I am asking this because of the following:
- IT is not possible to accelerate a SSD. This is because the SSD speed is much faster than a normal HDD.
- If you have a raid configuration, it is necessary to have the Chipset mode set as RAID.
- the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology helps the customer to manage the raids or acceleration in the system so in case you are not using RAID or accelerating you do not need to have the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology installed.
